We are seeking a senior SEO executive with 2 - 3 years hands on experience to join our fast-paced, growing Digital Marketing Agency in East London on a permanent basis. We are looking for a driven, energetic and enthusiastic individual, looking to grow rapidly into a management role.

You will be responsible for multiple campaigns across a variety of sectors such as food, property, tech, music, lifestyle and more.   • Optimise content for maximum visibility and performance in search engines
  • Source opportunities with excellent potential for search traffic
  • Gain knowledge in the latest digital SEO techniques and communicate ideas
  • Managing and maintaining client websites
  • Report on the use and performance of SEO tools and deliver day to day optimisation
  • Carry out competitor analysis keeping an eye on what they do well and how this could be introduced into own strategy
  • Keep abreast of best practice SEO and embed them in all strategies
  • Optimise technical SEO across a range of digital platforms
  • Deliver strong SEO results for customers
  • Working closely with Account manager / director to formulate SEO roadmaps and strategies, contribute to pitches and review campaign performance

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an SEO role (minimum 2 years)
  • Be able to demonstrate your role in search traffic growth from a current/previous position
  • Expert knowledge and a desire to stay ahead with latest developments
  • A functional level of understanding of core web technologies, such as HTML, PHP, .NET, CSS, JavaScript
  • An understanding of the following tools would be highly beneficial: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Search Metrics, SEMRush, Ahrefs & Ranking Tools (AWR, Moz, etc.)
  • Knowledge of optimising all aspects of on-page
  • Skilled in analysing keyword search terms
  • Experience of using content management systems and analytics/reporting tools
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Understanding of online marketing and social media
  • Confident, motivated, and professional
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Strong social, communication and presentations skills, and experience maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Some client management experience
