Welcome To The Team - Daniel Kent

1.       Who are you and what do you do?

I'm Dan and I'm the newest marketer to join Netleadz

2.       Favourite project / brand you would like to work on?

I would love to work on any brand related to helping people find and share new music such as Shazam or a currently unreleased app called Pobble.
In terms of current Netleadz projects, I think it would be www.isuperdrive.com, working on supercars is pretty exhilarating… I just hope I get to drive one some day!

3.       Why are you excited to work for Netleadz?

The main reason I’m excited to work at Netleadz is because of the approach the team takes to their clients. Xav and the team really value transparency and being honest with clients, which I think is really important and will build more successful, open relationships in the long run.

4.       What did you do before Netleadz?

I worked at a small digital marketing agency in Swindon before making the move with a few friends to the ‘big smoke’ recently.

5.       What do you listen to while you work?

I can generally listen to most things when I work as the noise just helps me to zone out, but being predominantly a house-music fan I like to listen to chilled house playlists on Spotify or 8tracks.

6.       What are the software tools you couldn’t live without?

CityMapper as I’m still getting used to (and occasionally lost in) London!

7.       Best advice you’ve ever had?

Make lists! Sounds quite insignificant but I seem to live my life based around making and getting through different lists.

8.       What’s your favourite website?

Youtube. I could spend hours on there watching programmes, random videos or listening to music (when not of work of course ha).

9.       What quote inspires you?

“He who fails to plan is planning to fail" – Winston Churchill

10.   What’s your guilty pleasure?

Ketchup – I can have it with anything and will go back to the bottle 2 or 3 times every meal to put more on my plate.

Bonus Question – if you could have any superpower what would it be?

The power to stop time – a bit like in Bernard’s watch. The benefits are endless… and of course you could play the best pranks on people.
